1998-1999 Season Playoff Results

The first round of the Church Men's Dartball League championships was played on March 24th, 
1999.  This round consisted of division champion with the best win / loss record playing the 
second place (wild-card) team with the best win / loss record and the other two first place 
teams playing each other.  The Atonement Rebels (46 - 17) of the National League defeated the 
Messiah Chiefs (52 - 11) of the Midwest League in 5 games; 16-4, 2-1, 4-5, 1-8 and 9-6. The 
New Hope Chicks (47-16) of the National League defeated Our Saviors Vikings (34-26) of the 
American League in five games; 2-10, 5-3, 2-3, 10-2, and 4-3.

The league championship series between the Atonement Rebels and New Hope Chicks will be 
played on Monday, March 29th at New Hope United Methodist and Tuesday, March 30th at 
Atonement Lutheran Church in a best 4 of 7 series.  The games will be played at Atonement 
Lutheran Church beginning at 7 PM each night.  Visitors are welcome at all the games.
